Why?
Loneliness is a growing problem in our modern life. We increasingly live in nuclear family units, away from our extended family and friends, and social institutions are becoming less and less common aspects of people's daily lives.
By nature, we are social creatures: we depend on communities to sustain ourselves. However, those communities don't just happen and they don't always survive. We must nurture them; we need to engage with them.

Our foundation focuses on helping communities to nurture themselves. This is mainly done through collaborations with the community leaders by providing them with the resources they need to develop, maintain, and grow their communities.
We also encourage positive uses of technology to enhance our social lives, instead of letting it take over. This is done, for example, by endorsing and facilitating offline activities for online communities.
